Well Chuck, it looks like you have changed your tune, because you have become my role model!
Mrs. Stricktown and I signed up for the Weight Watchers online program this past weekend. After reviewing the program, it really feels like an overpriced online food journal, but we like it so far. It's nice not having to stress over counting calories so much. Counting points is much easier for us with the online program because the point values for many foods are already in the Weight Watchers database.
Thinking back to times that have been successful with weight loss in my life, the most successful experiences I have had have been when portion control was the main focus. I love that with the Weight Watchers program I really can eat whatever I want - I just have to be prepared to eat less than I normally would. That's okay with me - I eat too much anyway.
Stricktownetta and I went down to LA Fitness last week (after a dinner at Venezia's, the infamous restaurant where Quinn Patrick the Eskimo and I destroyed the pizza challenge). Side note on that - the gym happens to be right next door to Venezia's, and on more than one occasion I have gone to the gym with good intentions only to find myself scarfing down some New York-style pizza goodness! Anyway, so we got Cassie a gym membership and we are excited to be going to the gym together. We'll keep you posted on our progress.

I activated my gym membership today. I'm going to get ripped!....or something. Going to the gym is easy when you don't have a job to get in the way lolz
